Craig A. Miller
Having crafted, launched, branded and established dominance of the world's leading Internet Digital Warehouse, Mr. Miller co-founded EVN Consulting to address a clear publishing market requirement – ensuring publishers success in their digital ventures. He created the Pragmatic Digital Publishing Framework to guide publishing executives in their strategic analysis and their teams in tactical execution and training. Craig co-founded EVN Solutions to deliver pragmatic technology solutions that solve common publisher’s challenges in XML, primarily using Drupal and MarkLogic Server. He has more than 20 years experience in strategic product development and marketing in the hi-tech sector, including ten years in business development management for Internet-based technology companies. A proven builder and leader of dynamic teams, his strengths include creating technology solutions for new channels and applications, concept-to-sale product management and contract sales and negotiations.
Prior to EVN, Craig was co-founder, General Manager and Vice President of LibreDigital, the leading Internet Digital Warehouse for publishers. He managed sales, marketing, operations and the project office and signed 7 of the top 10 North American publishers to its service. Craig was Director of Business Development for NewsStand, Inc., LibreDigital's parent company where he negotiated industry leading partnerships that placed millions of digital newspaper and magazine subscriptions around the world. Prior to NewsStand, Craig was U.S. Director of Marketing and Business Development for Munich-based DynaPel, which focused on advancing motion enabled MPEG4 CODECs in the security, video and graphics industry. He served as the Head of Engineering for STB’s Specialized Technology Division, creating multi-port graphics cards and video decoders including the TV Guide Channel’s broadcast-quality MPEG2 board. Craig also served as Analog Device’s Graphics Products Marketing Manager, and was a key member of Compaq’s Strategic Technology Development engineering team.
Craig holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and an M.B.A. from the University of Houston Executive Program. He is certified in Pragmatic Product Marketing™.
Kit Webster
Mr. Webster has been a senior manager in technological, entrepreneurial, and high growth companies for over 35 years. A pioneer and leader in the digital deployment of publishers' content and the use of the Internet and Web 2.0 to monetize content and assist publishers in their evolution to digital platforms, most recently Kit was CEO of NewsStand, Inc. and co-Founder of LibreDigital. His key accomplishments in digital publishing include:
- Obtaining relationships with many of the largest and most prestigious newspapers in the world, including The New York Times, Le Monde, Die Welt, The Australian, USAToday, The International Herald Tribune, The Globe and Mail, El Pais and La Presse, as well as leading newspapers in the United States
- Obtaining relationships with six of the ten largest trade book publishing companies in the US, creating "from scratch" the leader in the digital deployment of copyrighted trade books
- Obtaining strategic investments from The New York Times and from HarperCollins Publishers
- Defining the technical platform for providing digital publishing to the book publishing industry
- Defining monetization opportunities from web and digital publishing for the book, newspaper, and magazine publishing industries
- Strategically focusing on multiple deployments of well-formed, well-tagged information
- Defining approaches to Internet-based marketing utilizing Web 2.0 concepts
- Pioneering cost reduction programs such as offering digital editions for Newspapers In Education
Previously, he was President, Chief Operating Officer, and acting Chief Financial Officer of TippingPoint Technologies, a publicly-held company based in Austin, Texas, where he was instrumental in leading the company through a strategic and financial redirection. Mr. Webster has also held executive positions with publicly-held companies in Austin such as IntelliQuest, Ross Technologies, and The Continuum Company. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Masters of Electrical Engineering degree from Rice University.
Eric Clark
Mr. Clark has extensive experience in the technical creation and implementation of internet-based applications and systems, including architecture, design, coding, testing, security, Web 2.0 and mobile devices.
He has led EVN Solutions in the development of a sophisticated, XML-based system, including comprehensive rights and permissions, for a major printing company to offer the ability for its customers to create new information objects from existing information in addition to newly-created information. He was also the primary developer of EVN’s MarkLogic Server for Drupal (MLS4D) and MarkLogic Search & Results for Drupal (MLS&R4D) Modules.
Prior to joining EVN, Eric was Vice President, Information Technology and Proof-of-Concept Development for LibreDigital, Inc.; Senior Director of Information Technology and Systems for MODEL N, Inc.; Director of Information Technology and Systems for Computer Associates; and held various other positions related to data center operations.
Eric has a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Southern Illinois University and was a US Navy SEAL.

She has a strong commitment and a unique ability to manage the entire sales and delivery process and is always seeking to deepen her understanding about her customers’ needs and challenges.
Her extensive domain knowledge and experience guiding publisher's digital strategy implementations has proven results. Ms. Drake's customer centric methodology and strong commitment to quality solutions covers the entirety of the project life cycle - from sales to final delivery and sign off and is always seeking to deepen her understanding about her customers’ needs and challenges.
Before joining EVN Solutions, Ms. Drake worked at Impelsys and LibreDigital, serving the world’s top book publishing companies, assisting them in their early endeavors in digital editions, eBooks, online marketing and digital conversions. Prior to LibreDigital she was responsible for building and managing NewsStand's global business relationships for 300 newspapers and magazines with the primary goal of optimizing customer relationships to increase bottom – line revenue.
